How it is funded

At present the site carries no advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored content and no paid placements. Products analysed here are bought at retail out of the operating budget.

There is no paywall and no subscription.

What is not accepted

  • Payment, in any form, from a brand whose products are analysed
  • Free or discounted products from brands or their agencies
  • Affiliate commission on any link to a retailer
  • Sponsored posts, paid reviews, or “gifted” placements
  • Advance review of an analysis by the manufacturer it concerns

If this changes

If a revenue model is ever introduced, it will be described on this page before it goes live, and any commercially influenced content will be labelled individually at the point a reader encounters it — not only here.
